Landyn Lewis, Director of Player Development for Tucson Golf Program
Driven. Energetic. Self-starter. Tucson native Landyn Lewis is a PGA Professional and the current President of the Southwest Section Southern Arizona PGA Chapter. As the leader of the Tucson Golf Program, Landyn is dedicated to spreading the medicine, the guiding mission of Tucson City Golf. His focus on beginner-friendly instruction, junior golf development, and inclusive community programming helps introduce new players to the game while supporting long-term growth for golfers of every level.
Landyn didn’t begin playing golf until his sophomore year at Tucson High School. That late introduction gives him arelatable teaching perspective that helps new golfers feel comfortable while guiding players of all skill levels. His energetic coaching style emphasizes fundamentals, confidence, and enjoyment of the game.
Landyn is married to his high school sweetheart, Monique, and the couple recently welcomed their first child, strengthening his passion for creating family-friendly and accessible golf experiences throughout the Tucson community.

Meet Justin | Director of Instruction
Justin Bubser is a detail-oriented problem solver who most recently coached Division I college golf at the University of Arizona, specializing in the development of elite juniors looking to take their games to the next level.
Justin Bubser, Director of Instruction for Tucson Golf Program
Justin Bubser is a PGA Professional with extensive experience in competitive instruction and player development. He’s always had a passion for coaching, which has been present throughout his career. Most recently, he coached Division I women’s golf at the University of Arizona, where he helped develop elite athletes through structured training and performance-focused coaching. A proud PGA professional with experience in all aspects of the game, Justin started playing golf at the age of 7 and had his first job in golf at 15.
In 2007, Justin was a member of the Adams, Pepsi, and Gateway Tours. From 2009 to 2018, he served as First Assistant and later Head Golf Professional at Omni Tucson National. In that role, he managed more than 150 corporate and tournament events annually, including the PGA Tour Champions Cologuard Classic and the University of Arizona’s National Invitational Tournament.
He also served as the Head Professional at Tucson National where he coached the facilities PGA Junior League Teams, assisted in coaching the Ironwood Ridge Girls Golf Team, and instructed over 100 private lessons and clinics a year to members and guests of the resort.
While at the University of Arizona, Justin helped coach 8 NCAA All Americans, 1 NCAA Freshman of the Year, 1 #1 Player in the World Amateur Rankings, 6 player participants in the Augusta National Women’s Amateur, 5 players received their LPGA tour cards, and helped the Wildcats make the NCAAs in four of his five seasons, including two semifinal runs and a ninth-place national finish in 2023.
Justin and his “much better half” Jessica enjoy hiking, traveling, and playing golf together. Justin met Jessica while playing his college golf at Western New Mexico University where she played on the women’s team.

Corey Baehman, Class A PGA Professional and Instructor
Corey Baehman is a Class A PGA Professional who has been a member of the PGA of America since 2005. He teaches at both the Randolph and Silverbell Golf Courses and brings nearly three decades of instructional experience to Tucson City Golf. Corey is dedicated to helping golfers improve through clear communication, sound fundamentals, and a lifelong commitment to learning.
Corey has been teaching golf since 1997 and has served as the Head Golf Professional at three different facilities. Through years of instruction, he has learned that no two lessons are ever the same. Each session presents a new opportunity to apply his swing knowledge, problem-solving skills, and genuine passion for the game. His teaching approach is rooted in building confidence while helping students develop skills they can trust on the course.
Throughout his career, Corey has worked with tour professionals, top amateurs, nationally ranked juniors, and high-profile athletes. For more than 19 years, he has taught and directed golf camps, created customized coaching plans, and led instructional clinics for corporate and nonprofit organizations. His love for the game drives his commitment to supporting every student—from their first lesson and well beyond.

Bobby Saavedra is a Class A PGA Teaching Professional with nearly a decade of experience instructing golfers of all ages and abilities. A lifelong student of the game, Bobby is passionate about helping players improve through simple, effective instruction designed to build confidence and consistency.
Bobby takes a streamlined approach to teaching, focusing on fundamentals and movement patterns that match each golfer’s individual needs. By tailoring every lesson to a student’s goals and physical abilities, he creates a clear path for improvement without unnecessary complexity. His strong understanding of swing mechanics, combined with an encouraging and supportive coaching style, allows students to see measurable results—often after just one lesson.
