On June 9, 2026, the Tucson City Council approved Parks and Recreation fee changes, including the implementation of a $2 Golf Improvement Fund. Beginning July 1, 2026, this $2 fee, which is applied per round of golf on top of the greens fee, will appear as a dedicated line item on your receipt. The Golf Improvement Fund is a City‑implemented initiative, and all revenue collected will be used for capital improvements across our five municipal golf courses.
Important Note: Any current Tucson City Golf pass holders are exempt from the $2 Golf Improvement Fund fee for the duration of 2026.
Purpose of the Golf Improvement Fund
The Golf Improvement Fund will help us invest in course upgrades, equipment, and special projects that elevate the quality of our offerings. These investments help us maintain high‑quality municipal golf facilities and ensure that Tucson City Golf continues to serve the community for years to come.
